Loop is a campus discovery platform built by Cornell Digital Tech & Innovation (Cornell DTI) that turns cluttered listserv content into a personalized feed of events, opportunities, and club updates for Cornell students. Loop consists of a web dashboard and a Chrome extension.

Loop is available only to holders of a @cornell.edu email address, with one exception: a single reviewer account is made available to the Chrome Web Store review team so they can evaluate the extension.
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, Cornell email address, and profile photo. We use this only to create and identify your Loop account. Google Sign-In does not give us access to your Gmail messages, contacts, or any other Google data.
When you set up your account, you can share your major, graduating class, minor, and interests, which we currently only use interests and the clubs you follow to personalize your feed.
We store the actions you take in the product:
The Chrome extension stores your signed-in session locally on your device (chrome.storage.local) so you stay logged in across Gmail and Google Calendar tabs. This data stays on your device and isn't something we access separately from your account.
Loop's Gmail panel is designed to feel like part of your inbox, but it does not read, scan, or store the contents of your personal email. The extension does not access your Gmail messages at all. Everything shown in the panel is pulled from Loop's own servers.
